Daedalus Design London (DDL) is focused on hospitality design specialising in the realisation of resort hotels and destinations.
Based in London, the studio provides both hospitality design and design management services, advising clients around the world.
Our clients desire a highly customised approach and focus on the finest details, teamed with successful delivery. In a corporate environment the individual creative spirit does not thrive, so we offer a flexible approach to meet every challenge.
Our work style is proactive, positive and fun, which drives our large repeat business. As a result, we have had the privilege to return to properties we designed many years ago, to renovate and innovate. We unite the team you need for every project.
DDL’s approach to the design is through careful integration of architecture and landscape, created on a foundation of sustainable and sound engineering principles. Applying this approach is essential for an island destination.
Director
Kevin R Scholl
Kevin brings with him 30 years of diverse international experience in architecture, as well as design management and construction oversight. Kevin’s passion for being closely involved with the projects, working closely with clients and determination to overcome development challenges enabled a direct involvement and insight into seeing his designs realised and into operation.
Prior to creating DDL, Kevin was recognised as one of the most talented senior leaders at the design firm of WATG. During his tenure as a senior director and board member for one of the world’s leading full-service hospitality design firms, Kevin has worked closely with clients to successfully complete projects in a variety of cultures and locations. His international design portfolio of work includes the design and creation of over 40 completed hotel, residential and leisure developments in three continents.
